It’s a cool winter night and it’s snowing softly. Sonic and Shadow decided to go on a walk together to have some peace and quiet from the rest of the gang. They sat down on a random bench, just talking and laughing over stupid things for a while. It’s quite nice considering how there’s no one outside either. They both have cozy jackets and scarves on so that they don’t get cold either.

Out of nowhere during some silence, Sonic feels something grab his hand gently. Shadow. Of course. They’re now holding hands, and they’re sitting close together so that their knees are kinda touching. Sonic takes this opportunity to quietly whip out his phone and record this rare event while Shadow isn’t looking.

“Hehe, we’re holding handss..”

Sonic says in a teasing voice, making Shadow speak up.

“Sonic..what are you doing?..”

Sonic smirks.

“Recording.”

As soon as Sonic says that, Shadow yanks his hand away, not wanting to be exposed as Sonic tilts his phone camera up to Shadow’s face, which slowly turns to look at him with a small glare. This makes Sonic sigh.
