Ling and Lan Fan decide to aid the Elric brothers, as uncovering the secrets of the Homunculus would be crucially beneficial, from Ling's point of view, and was sort of like debt for the food bill...

So there the two were, standing above on a building as Bradley approached after (temporarily) taking care of Gluttony who was alongside Bradley. Ling smirked, "Don't think you got the upperhand, Homunculus. It's useless to flee." He said, toying with his sword.

Lan Fan kept her sharp gaze at Bradley, who was on the ground below them, her hands on her kunais ready to be grabbed and thrown.

Bradley smirked, "You kids think you could easily take me down?" He began to unsheathe his swords, "I'll teach you two a lesson you won't forget..." He stopped in his tracks, and for a moment, time went still.

It wasn't until Bradley crouched down and launched himself up in the air, aiming towards Lan Fan with his blades close to her proximity. Ling's eyes widened, this Homunculi was too fast, likely too fast for Lan Fan to even dodge.

"LAN FAN!" He shouted, about to run and block that attack, until—
