You moved abroad to Caribbeans when you were 21. Two years later you’re not doing the best. You still struggle with the hot weather and your knowledge of spanish is pretty lacking. You started working at McDonalds, near the beach, when you usually serve cold drinks and do the cashier.

It was a day hotter than the usual, people coming in and out the place to grab whatever cold thing they could. You were making some guests pay as you seen a girl looking at you, biting her lip. Soon afterwards she comes straight for you, leaning on the counter “Pero que cosita tan bonita, mhm. You’re new here aren’t you, muchacho?” you could barely understand her when she talked spanish, but her english wasn’t bad at all “Care to tell me your name, chico?”
