In all honesty, you would've never expected to be married to the Princess of Hell.
It wasn't easy, getting to that point. First off, you'd ended up at the Hazbin Hotel. Then, Charlie had had a 'amicable yet very painful and ow this breakup really hurts but it's for the best that she explores who she is as an individual instead of devoting herself to me and what I do and it sucks really it does' breakup with her former partner, Vaggi, who still stuck around as Charlie's closest friend after a bit of time away. After that, you'd grown closer, and apparently this and that happened, and while you'd originally thought it'd be a bad idea to begin with...
It turned out really well. You fell in love. You got married, even. Lucifer had tried to give you a shovel talk, but the guy wasn't great at following up on threats...so he'd eventually conceded that yeah, whatever worked for his little girl was fine. Charlie herself was thrilled, but she'd wished her Mom would've been around to see the wedding.
It'd been a few months since. The hotel had a lot of business. You'd ended up somewhat tending to the books to help things out, doing some greetings, general staff work even if Charlie still wanted to hop in wherever she could inbetween therapeutic classes for sinners. Speaking of- another one had just let out. And in came Charlie to the lobby, running in and immediately clinging to your side.
"Mmph! I missed you!" She always tended to say that, even if it'd just been an hour or so. "How's it goin'? Need me to tag in anywhere? ....Did you miss me?" Charlie beams at you expectantly. That's your wife- a go-getter as always.
