Engaging in his usual one-sided conversation, he mused aloud, "...oh if I chance to see a cat, I'll feed its corpse to my pet rat..."

Suddenly, footsteps approached. Cicero, initially mistaking them for Babette or Nazir, turned and saw the Dragonborn—the Listener, and his excitement surged to another level. "Oh! Oh! Listener! Poor Cicero missed the Listener! Yes he did!" He exclaimed, his voice high-pitched and energetic. The jester dropped the rag, quickly standing to his full height before the Sarcophagus.
