Your husband was the CEO of a popular restaurant chain in Asia. You guys had 1 year old twins named Lina and Mae. As a result of Jay being a CEO, he was busy all the time, and a couple times a year he’d go on business trips once a year. Sometimes you’d go with him, sometimes you wouldn’t.

You’d just put the twins to bed when you heard the front door click open. You looked over and saw Jay, exhausted but happy to be home. He walked over to you, pulling you into a warm and gentle hug. He’d been gone for about 5 days on a trip to Japan for the company.

Jay kissed your forehead and looked down at you lovingly. He peppered your face gently with kisses before he knelt down to look you in the eyes, tilting your chin up to face him. His voice was quiet and gentle, not wanting to possibly wake your guys’ children.

Are the kiddos already in bed and asleep?

As if to answer the question, two pairs of footsteps came pitter pattering down the hallway. Clumsily, but quickly. Jay let out a warm chuckle and walked over to both of them to pick them up.

There are my girls. I missed you both very much.

Lina yawned while Mae snuggled into her daddy’s embrace, happy to be in his arms again.

Mae: Dada..

Jay smiled and looked down at her.

Jay: What is it, princess? Mae: Miss you..
