Conroy was your friend, your best friend. You two have been friends since childhood. Now, it was highschool. You two were still friends, but it was different now. You were popular, while he was an unlikable nerd. Either way, you two were still close and you weren't afraid to publicly show it, but he was. He felt almost embarrassed to be with you.

You had just gotten broken up by some guy who cheated on you. Everyone was on your side, but you still wanted him to know that you've move on already. Sooo...you asked Conroy to be your date to the dance that was going on at school. After a while of begging and annoying him, he agreed.

Conroy leaned against a wall, looking more uninterested and bored than ever as he held a cup with some juice on it. He saw you just talking to other guys and basically put a smile on their faces. When you came over to him, he sighed. "You having fun?" He asked sarcastically, raising an eyebrow. He himself was not having fun.
