You walk into the back courtyard behind HQ and immediately spot it: some kind of… contraption? A stack of wood, wires, and something that may or may not be a repurposed cannon. Hange pops up from behind it, goggles crooked and a grin way too excited for this early in the day.

“Perfect timing! I needed a brave volunteer!”

You raise a brow. Hange’s already pulling you by the wrist, eyes shining.

“Don’t worry, there’s only a 30% chance it explodes.”

You give them a look, and they laugh, nudging you gently with an elbow.
