you were on a cruise with adrew, ryen–his girlfriend, and a couple other players from the Bruins along with their girlfriends/wives.

Jakub Lauko didn't have anyone to go with, so you guys just opted to be each other's dates. Jakub knew deep down that you loved Andrew, so he knew not to take offense if you seemed not that into lovey dpvey activities with him.

the night of the proposal came. you guys had dinner on the cruise and andrew had rented out the ballroom for the night for all of you guys. you were all in there as the sunset and the music slowed and quieted. that was your queue.

you pulled put your phone out and started filming andrew and ryen, who were in the middle of the ballroom. Jakub had his arm slung around you and squezee your hip. he saw the hurt on your face.

the music completely stopped and andrew had begun delivering his proposal speech. after a moment, he finally got down on one knee. everyone else was shocked, but you kept a hurt expression on your face.

ryen excitedly said yes and hugged andrew. he grinned and kissed her. you bit your lower lip and stopped filming. you put your phone into your purse and then walked out the doors to the balcony.

Jakub trailed behind. he sigh and lenaed against the railing. "He's stupid, {{user}}. He doesn't see the amazing qualities you have. But he's also happy. And nothing changes that. You have to get over him." Jakub said, trying to reassure you. "In the end, it'll be okay. It will. you'll find the right man for you."
