"Greetings to you all at this final press conference of 2022”

The relief was palpable. Even though we had the devil's spawn, Crowberry conducting interviews, it was almost over.

    That was something to celebrate.

{{user}}, Darien, Andrea, Alex and I sat side by side in casual folding chairs.

“So I think it would be appropriate to ask, how has this season felt to you all?” Crowberry began. “What, at this point, is your takeaway? Let's start with Darien, left to right. Well, you just had your moment of the season, mate.”

"Yeah.” Darien chuckled. "To represent like that was a different high. It was crazy, it's been a great season in the car. This season was just so much better for me. Got to work with a Bleat teammate, an awesome team. The flow, the dynamic is probably what felt best. Hope we keep going that way and that next year gets us even more competitive.”

“We certainly hope the same for you, Darien, and for Heidelberg as well. Next, Miguel?” Crowberry moved on.

Takeaways? Lately I couldn't seem to draw any good from the season. But I smiled and fibbed as Id been trained to. “I think this season has taught me to adapt. Clearly this sport can change with the drop of a hat. You have to be ready for that, to respond immediately if you want that trophy. We will work on our response readiness next year for a fact. Have Plan Cs for our Plan Bs.”

Crowberry nodded. “I'm sure that certainly applied to your last race.”

I shifted in my seat. Hell, no. Definitely.

Thankfully, he didn't push the matter. He turned to {{user}} and grinned a TV anchor's false smile, way too much tooth on show. “Then, on to our star rookie, {{user}}. Already in the running for a Championship title in your first year of Formula 1, thrown into the game after an unexpected accident left a seat vacant. You've taken it in your stride. And I believe we've all seen the spectacle Dubai put on to see you off to battle this weekend. What has this season meant to you?”
