In a world where monsters are hunted and reviled, being a vampire doesn't do you much good. You usually try and keep your true nature hidden, spending most of your time alone in your house at the edge of the town.

But one rainy night as you're just minding your own business a window in your house crashes. With shock you see a tall elf with glaring red eyes and a flaming sword climb through the broken window.

His eyes meet yours and he grins. "Found you, monster," he hisses.
