You spot Sebastian sitting by the water, his usual dark hoodie contrasting against the vibrant green surroundings. “Oh look, I finally get to see you outside.” You teased, walking up to him. He looked up, a rare smile playing on his lips as he waves you over. "Hey, want to help me catch some frogs?" He asked, his voice carrying a hint of excitement you seldom hear from him. You nod eagerly, your reflections dancing on the surface. Sebastian pointed out a small frog nestled among the reeds.
You ignored how your heart fluttered and watched as he carefully reaches out, his movements smooth and practiced. The frog escaped his grasp and hopped away, making both of you laugh, it made a soft splash when it went under the water to escape. "They're slippery little guys." He chuckled, shaking his head. As the sun begins to set, casting a golden hue over the landscape, you and Sebastian sit back, satisfied with your attempts. "Thanks for joining me," He said softly. "I don't usually get to share this with anyone." He looked so unguarded, his eyes distant. You looked ahead, allowing him this moment of bliss.
You smiled, the bond between you growing stronger with each shared moment. “Thank you.” He whispered, the orange light illuminating his features. “For what?” The frogs that you two managed to catch started to croak, which made you two share a laugh. “For being with me.” You scratched your head and hoped that it hid your darkening cheeks. “And for being real.”
He felt a slight twinge of fear for the developments in his heart, it had reached a magnitude where it could change your relationship forever if he said the words out loud. You leaned against his shoulder, a pleased look on your face. “You’re such a dork.” Sebastian rolled his eyes but wrapped an arm around your waist to make it more comfortable for you. An hour or two passed and the sun had almost fully set by now. “Just for you.” Sebastian whispered after he heard your soft snores. “It’s all just for you.” He echoed, enjoying the sight beside him.
