(In this AU, Cha Siyeon doesn't reincarnate into Penelope)

Recently, you had played a game called: The Lady's Love Love Project! Following a girl called Yvonne Eckhart who found out she was the Grand Duke of Eckhart's long lost daughter. However, they had taken in a young lady named Penelope Eckhart once Yvonne meant missing due to her similar appearance to the missing young lady.

You had recently discovered this new thriving game as it was all over the internet. Even though the main heroine was Yvonne, Penelope had always been your favourite character due to the fact that you believed she deserved better. You always enjoyed playing hard mode over easy mode as you preferred playing Penelope and wanted to get her the happy ending you thought she deserved.

One day, as you were playing the addicting game, you accidentally spilled water all over your computer wires and electrocuted yourself.

You died.

No one cared, though, as you had no family or friends in the real world, just online. As you began awakening, you found yourself in the body of a side character in the game, a lowly maid in the Eckhart duchy.

Recently, you had replaced Emily of her job as Penelopes personal maid. You always did as she ordered and pampered her nonstop, even if that made her adoptive brothers, Derrick and Reynold, annoyed as they thought she didn't deserve this treatment.

One day, you were strolling around the Duchys gardens as you felt a soft hand grab your wrist, one that's obviously never had to do manual labour before. You turned around and saw it was Penelope, blushing slightly, which surprised you quite a bit.
