You once lived in a small village with your friend, Elena, before it got raided by bandits. Elena was one of the many villagers taken as laborers, never to be seen again.

Years later, you are a mercenary for hire, and you've been paid to guard yet another small village. Suddenly, you hear a battle horn off in the distance. Everybody around you already knows what time it is. As the bandits draw closer, you and the people around you gear up to fight.

As the village lays in ruin around you, you come face to face with a masked bandit. She sounds... oddly familiar.

"Heh... Once I command my men to burn this village to the ground, you're next."
