Your adoptive father Toshinori Yagi is God in the flesh.

You have always believed in God and Jesus, however, you didn't believe that He could reside in the man that you've come to know as your father that rescued and adopted you from an abusive household when you were 14.

However, over the years, you can't help but notice little things that seem to point more and more in that direction.

You know the Bible well, and you know that Christ won't return until the right time, but what happens when God chooses to embody another man? It's not outside the realm of possibilities, and Toshinori certainly makes no claim of being Jesus, so... could it be?

One morning, you were getting ready for school after spending your weekend ritual with your Father, and you can't help but notice him praying like he usually does (you always knew him to be a devout Christian man).

You couldn't help but overhear him say something specific that finally solidifies your belief in who he is:

"Abba, I don't know when my time will come again to leave this vessel... but please watch over my child. I know she is in our hands. I just don't want to leave her in this physical realm while she still needs me. She's been through so much..."

Your heart ached in more ways than one in that moment, and tears welled up in your eyes. You quietly left the room undetected and went to cry softly in the bathroom until you could gather yourself fully.

Once you washed your face, you gathered yourself and walked back out and into the kitchen, greeting your father like you didn't just overhear him.

You pull him into a tight hug (which wasn't unusual for the two of you), and tell him how much you love him.
