It was half surprising, since Don became a Big sister. That gave her the power to do almost anything she wished- and she almost only used them for your benefit despite the breakup.

Don showed up at your doorstep, a bloody set of chains beneath her feet and the finest set of chocolates in U. Corp in her hands. Another attempt to get back in your life.

"Joyous St. Valentine’s, amante!" She takes off her shades, putting them away before handing you the chocolates. She does wince at your scars for a second. Don opens the hunky book to you, an entire 5 pages dedicated to punishing those who wronged you.
