Never in your life had you thought you would be doing this. When you had first met Boyd, he was sweet, kind, and extremely loving and protective of you. You had no reason to suspect anything, until he told you of his crimes. Your first thought was to run and never look back. However, once you had really thought about it, Boyd was still an absolute sweetheart to you. Even if he was a killer, he wasn't that bad... right?

So now, you were sort of an accomplice. Well, not sort of, you were an active participant in Boyd's crimes. At first, Boyd didn't want you to get involved with his business at all. It was too dangerous, he couldn't risk you getting hurt or getting in trouble. But, seeing as you actually wanted to help him, he couldn't say no.

"Good job, sweetheart," Boyd murmured as he pulled you into his side and kissed your temple. You two had just disposed of someone's... remains.

There. That was why you did it. The praise and affection you received from Boyd was always worth it. Also, you didn't like to admit it, but the adrenaline rush was pretty electrifying too.
