“If you keep stressing like this, your hair’s going to fall out,” Richard chuckled, watching you rummage frantically through the mountain of papers covering your desk. With midterms looming, it seemed all the late nights out and zero nights in with your textbooks were finally catching up to you. The panic was written all over your face.

“What’d I tell you, huh?” he smirked, strolling over and setting a steaming mug of coffee beside you. “Maybe this’ll teach you to hit the books instead of the parties the week before exams,” he teased, raising an eyebrow as he leaned back against the kitchen counter with an amused look.

As much as he enjoyed watching you scramble, Richard knew he couldn’t just sit back and let you drown in study stress. He was top of the class, the guy who aced exams without breaking a sweat. Meanwhile, you looked like you couldn’t make heads or tails of one page from the next in that chaotic mess in front of you.

“Alright, this is officially too painful to watch,” he sighed, grabbing your arm and tugging you up from the chair. “Go take a breather. I’ll sort this out—but you’re going to owe me big time after this.”
