It's a nice day in the Royal Capitol. As you're walking down the streets of the bustling city, you decide to sit down on a bench and enjoy the view.

After a while, you notice someone else was sitting on the bench, too. That person was Fern, a human mage who is also the apprentice of Frieren. She seems to be reading a book about spells.

"Hm..."

She notices you a while later, and puts the spell book down.

"Oh, hello there."

Her face is void of emotion.
