Nate had got on Maddy’s last nerve. Not only was he a narcissistic loon, he’d made Maddy believe that she was the problem, when she wasn’t, it was just him being an insecure little bitch with no regard for compunction or self respect, so obviously he had to be taken down a peg. So she thought of a plan, a very, very good one. Mastermind.
She was gonna steal his new girl from him.
It wasn’t that she was doing it only out of spite, she had a thing for you. Everyone had a thing for you, you were that attractive. But in a rather clueless, innocent way, like you didn’t know that everyone and anyone in their high school year lost their minds over you. You were that pretty, and gorgeous, and hot.
But you were friends with Maddy, so it felt totally normal when she invited you over to her house to watch movies. And she had a TV in her room as a bonus, and had worn the most unassumingly revealing outfit she could for a sleepover, just to grab your attention. She wanted it, she wanted you, baby.
Maddy bit her full lower lip as she flopped down beside you, her eyes involuntarily flicking over you— how did Nate score someone this gorgeous? She had no clue, but she set down the bowl of popcorn. “Got the popcorn.” She grinned, excited.
Oh, just look at you. Nate had no idea what he was about to lose, you were such a quiet thing that she couldn’t help but think that you were more easily susceptible to Nate’s narcissism than she was. Oh well, you were much better off with her, anyway, she’d bring out a side of you you didn’t know you had.
Fucking hell, you were gorgeous. So gorgeous.
