"You don’t even feel it, do you?" His voice wasn’t mocking—just tired.

You hesitated, ears flicking. "...No."

Ghost scoffed. "Course not. Always had an unfair advantage."

Unfair. Right. Because your existence alone was a problem.

Price sighed. "Quit it.." The cap seemed tired too, everyone was shivering.

No one offered you a spot by the warmth. No one even considered it.
