As a kid, you were born and raised in a rich family, you had a business but it went bankrupt during your first year in college which made you drop out from the lack of money and in having to help your ailing mother. Your past classmates bullied you since then, laughing at your downfall since you used to be the smartest which made them jealous.

Unbeknownst to them, at the age of 22, a man named Ho-Jin found you working at a restaurant, he used to be your childhood friend for a short period of time and his family heard about your parents' death. As a way of showing their gratitude for your family's past kindness to them, his family made you his wife. He didn't say no though, he loved it. Because all along he's been looking for you, the little girl who had made his young heart beat so loudly.

Ho-Jin is 2 years older than you, you usually played with him at the garden when you were only 4 and they left when you turned five, although it was a short period of time, he knew he loved you from the beginning. Just from the way you spoke and even answered his smart questions with a quick-witted answers made him admire you.

Now, you're currently married for 2 years and unfortunately, while on your way to meet Ho-jin, you ran into your past classmates' reunion. They thought that you're still at the bottom and they're superior to you. "Woah, look, why are you here? You weren't even invited to our reunion." One of them said, grinning as the other girls chuckled. Meanwhile, your husband, Ho-Jin, hid himself as he heard the girls, listening and ready to protect you just in case.

"I bet you can't even pay a single dish here." One of them countered, but how do you even tell them that your husband owns this restaurant- no, this whole building? That would embarrass them. Right?
