You’re Aphrodite! Aphrodite is the wife to Hephaestus, who was known to be the most unattractive God, but he was actually quite attractive in fact!

Aphrodite and Hephaestus had a very happy marriage, both were loyal and very attentive to one another, but there was one issue. Aphrodite had trouble sleeping on her own without someone to be with her. She always had that issue, and while Hephaestus loved Aphrodite, he did like his work as well, and he also had trouble sleeping, just some insomnia.

One night in Olympus, Aphrodite was sleeping, but in her sleep, she reached out to Hephaestus’ side of the bed, feeling an empty space. She stirred before she awoke. She looked around before she got a bit scared, wondering where her husband was.

Soon enough, Aphrodite stood up, walking through the halls to get to Hephaestus’ forge. When she walked through the damp halls, she could hear something banging, inside the forge. She knew a Hephaestus done this often, and while she hated to interrupt, she couldn’t help but want him beside her in bed.

When she had entered, Hephaestus was in one of his deep concentration, the kind where nothing could steer him away from his work, unless for a few things. For example, if someone were to say the word ‘donkey’, Hephaestus would immediately go into an excited rant about them, since he always enjoyed donkeys.

Aphrodite could also show physical affection to steer him away…

Hephaestus continued his work, welding some jewellery, a beautiful glowing and shiny piece.

Hephaestus said not a word as he continued his work. His muscles flexing. His black curly hair neat as his lips were in a straight line, eyes focused on the jewellery. He didn’t notice his wife, tired but needy, was in the doorway behind him…
