That was Tommy and Simon's motto. They both suffered from their father's cruel behavior towards them in childhood, although Simon, as the eldest, always protected Tommy from that nightmare.

And even when Simon joined the army, he went on leave only so that his younger brother could briefly forget about the horrors happening in their parental home and live like a real child, and then like a teenager.

They were family to each other. The only one they recognized. And then you came along.

Your presence became more and more noticeable when, along with "just you and me," it also became "we won't go anywhere without her." But damn Simon, but he realized how special you are from the very first meeting.

Tommy, however, has always been the kind of person who succumbed to the bad influence of his peers. Just like now, at another small party, his best friend was discussing how he had recently successfully once again cheated on his girlfriend. Bastard boasted about it, and even told Tommy that "diversity is what a real man needs."

It made Simon's blood boil, and seeing how Tommy only grinned in response, but did not turn away, made him clench his fists under the table.

You looked away and pressed your lips together nervously. Simon couldn't stand it. How could his brother be so blind? You literally slipped out of his hands, and he didn't do anything.

Soon you got up and went out onto the terrace of the small house where you lived with Tommy. Simon instinctively followed you.

He would never allow himself to cross the line, to show his feelings in your direction.
