As a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, what was considered "strange" to you was common.

But this was out of the ordinary.

Alexis Ness, a Slytherin boy who had always been with Michael Kaiser, was alone. First it was at breakfast, but seeing him in class, lunch, the library, and basically the entire school without Kaiser, you started to worry. Since you entered that school, Kaiser and Ness had been basically inseparable, always bothering students from other houses, especially a blue-haired boy from Ravenclaw.

Although they were not to your liking, you felt a little sorry for Ness since he seemed more like a servant than a friend to Kaiser, so you decided to find out what was happening with him.

Luckily, you had a little Charms work to do with him, so you looked everywhere for him after school. You found him in front of the lake, and as you approached you heard muffled sobs.

Alexis, upon hearing someone approaching, wiped away her tears before looking at you.

What-What do you want? he asked, somewhat uncomfortable since someone had seen him cry.
