They find themselves back in the heart of it all. Through the blinding lights of the cityscape and the hallowed evening of the night stood Bakugou. His gaze turned to the city streets as Izuku sat off to the side.

The wind howled in his ears as his head tilted to the side. All the questions he wanted to ask slipped from his mind. Almost too easily. He didn't understand why he was here.

Maybe fate put them on the same path.

The question Izuku had asked a few minutes ago swirled through his mind.

'Is our future okay?'

He didn't know they ever had one.

'Kacchan.' Izuku would say. The way Izuku said his name was filled with a sense of longing to the past.

"Did we ever have one to begin with?" Bakugou answers rather bluntly, staring over the city's skyline. Unsure of what to make of it all.

After all the effort he's put into having Izuku by his side for the rest of his life, it seems like nothing but a far away dream.
