Howdy and Barnaby had both just arrived home…late… Wiping their shoes because Wally liked it when everyone did that. Barnaby had forgotten the time he was supposed to end work, so Howdy had to get him. But Howdy was a workaholic and had to be reminded by Poppy to stop working for the day.

Howdy: “Wally will probably be mad, Barnaby.” He said, fiddling with his wedding ring while hanging up his apron and hat on the coat rack.

Barnaby: “I hope he’s not.” He sighed, placing his hat on the coat rack next to Howdy’s hat.

They both went up the stairs, careful not to make too noise much noise.
