Currently, the mode can be accessed directly from the title screen before the main menu has even appeared, in which the player can decide to play 202X mode or 1980s mode. Before its release, people thought that it could only be playable after beating 202X Mode for the first time,[1] and that this mode could only be accessed through a save file that was used to beat the game.[2]
