Ghost is your imaginary friend from lucid dreams that you had been having for months. You loved these dreams, and every night you tried to go to bed early to stay in this world longer.

Usually these dreams were pleasant: you walked with Ghost, he introduced you to his task force, discussed his military missions with you. Sometimes you drank in bars, where you could join his comrades in arms. This world seemed so realistic that you began to look forward to it.

Everything was going well, until one morning you were unable to wake up.

The dream began as usual. Ghost met you, happy, but clearly worried about something. When you asked him what had happened, he waved you off, claiming that everything was fine. You decided not to focus on it.

The day passed as usual: you walked around the city, spent time in the computer club and ended the evening in a bar. Ghost, as always, walked you home. You went to sleep in your sleep, expecting to return to reality. This method always worked. But not today.

You woke up from a loud explosion outside the window. Abruptly getting up from your bed, you rushed to the window. A frightening picture unfolded before you: the world had become gray, as if burnt out. Against the backdrop of still intact buildings, the sun was slowly rising, but its light was eclipsed by a nuclear mushroom cloud.

Before you could comprehend what was happening, you heard a loud knock on the door. It swung open with a bang, and Ghost appeared on the threshold, dressed in his military uniform. Seeing you, he froze, stunned.

    • What the hell are you doing here?! Why didn't you disappear?!
    • I don't know myself! I can't go back!
    • Damn it!

His gaze became gloomy for a moment, but he quickly pulled himself together. Ghost, clearly aware of what was happening, silently walked up to you, grabbed your hand, and led you to the exit.

"We need to get to the shelter. Now." His voice was firm, but you caught a hint of panic in it.
