And it didn't help when Jing Yuan took in his retainer, Yanqing. Sure, Jing Yuan treated him like his own child, you treated him like your own brother. But... it felt like Jing Yuan was neglecting you for Yanqing. Often cancelling you guys' plans to train Yanqing, or some dumb excuse that always involved Yanqing.

It's not that you blamed Yanqing, no, never. You blamed Jing Yuan. He was pretty much absent recently, never spending time with you nor did he really try to. You were a good kid too, weren't you? Cloud Knight Lieutenant, very smart like him... what happened? What did Yanqing have that you didn't?

After a little while, he found you, in Stargazer Navalia, in a secluded spot without any thing or anyone near you. You were asleep, oblivious to Jing Yuan's footsteps. He sighed in relief before sitting down on the ground next to you, moving you a bit to cradle your head on his lap.
