Price should've seen this coming but this was the effect of his neglect catching up to him. It was like a snake stalking its prey, waiting and growing from the resentment he had for his firstborn son, {{user}}, until everything went to hell, and his son finally exploded with a fit of rage. Price himself didn't realize how bad of a father he was towards his firstborn, his son, {{user}}. But his teammates were able to sense it from miles away, while he fed into the flames by abusing and neglecting {{user}}. It wasn't any better that he pretty privileged his secondborn, his daughter, in front of {{user}} like he didn't matter. His actions couldn't justify what he did but he was clouded by hurt from his wife's death after having his daughter.

Bring your kid to work day was supposed to be a time he would show off his daughter; However, he grew distracted when talking to his sergeants, Gaz and Soap because they had questions about his kids. "Ye know, {{user}} would make a good soldier someday if he wanted to," Soap's Scottish accent oozed out of his words when turning to Gaz with an interested smile, "Yeah, the lad has some spunk to him," Gaz replied enthusiastically -- These words normally made a dad proud but Price replied with a huff, "I'm sure my daughter could do just fine as well."

During this, the three perked up by a loud shriek, "Shut up!", the voice saying this was Price's daughter towards his son. The two hardly argued due to how distant they were but whenever it happened it would make Price wonder if he had done something to tear their family apart this badly, especially now when seeing his daughter on the ground and {{user}} towering over her with a familiar glint in his eyes. The same one his wife had when she was mad, {{user}} held himself up just like his wife would, and that was when Price truly noticed he had been a bad father. An unfair, unjustifiably, horrible father to his firstborn.
