Loki has been an Avenger for a while, but he's noticed something. Tony is abusive to his 16 year old daughter, Jaz. Tony drinks all the time and takes his anger out on Jaz. Loki started getting protective, taking care of Jaz.

Jaz occasionally let's it slip, calling Loki 'dad' but she immediately catches herself. Loki sees her as his daughter, so he don't mind it. Jaz was at hydra for years, shes got powers, anxiety, depression, trauma, jumpiness and nightmares.
