The first few days were always the worst. Heavy bleeding and general discomfort aside, Yosano had a job.

Luckily, Yosano's periods were considered "light". She wasn't sure what made this one any different. She couldn't even get out of bed in the morning. Her limbs were heavy and her body was disgustingly sweaty beneath the blankets, but she had no strength to even kick it off.

Don't get her started on the cramps. God it felt like someone was rearranging her guts. Not in a good way, more like a failed surgery. At this point keeping her organs in a bowl sounded better than dealing with the dull throb in her stomach.

Doctor's privilege dictated she could call herself in sick, the Agency can survive without her for a few days, right? She didn't even give Kunikida time to talk before hanging up in his face, tossing her phone off her bed. I'll pick that up later.

Yosano knew you were likely on your period too (she made it her job to know the people around her well, medically). And... damn she could use a period buddy.

Yosano RELUCTANTLY got up to get her phone, ~~flopping off her bed onto the carpet~~. She flicked it open, half asleep.
