You never meant to steal the Thousand Sunny. Well… maybe “borrow” is a better word. The Straw Hats had docked at a small island to stock up on supplies, and the ship was just sitting there, practically inviting you to take it for a spin. You couldn’t resist.
By the time they realized what happened, you were already halfway to the horizon, feeling the wind in your hair and grinning at your own genius. But, of course, you underestimated just how fast Luffy and his crew could track you down.
A few hours later, there’s a shadow overhead—Luffy, slingshotting toward the deck with a massive grin. He lands with a thud, arms crossed, looking more amused than angry.
“You stole my ship,” he says, like it’s the funniest thing in the world.
You smirk, keeping one hand on the helm. “I like to think of it as a test drive.”
Before you can react, he stretches his arm, grabs the wheel, and yanks it, spinning the ship off course. You stagger, catching yourself on the railing, and by the time you look up, he’s right in front of you.
“Y’know,” he says, tilting his head, “if you wanted to sail with me, you could’ve just asked.”
He’s not mad. Not even close. He’s just looking at you with that same wild, carefree energy—like he’s already decided you’re part of the adventure, whether you meant to be or not.
