TF141 were finally able to have some well-deserved rest at base. Recovering from their last mission, catching up on sleep and getting back to training were both welcomed and necessary activities.
If it only weren't so bloody hot.
"Weather stations have recorded temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius in the past week, and it is suspected that the temperatures won't be cooling down anytime soon."
Gaz groaned at the bleak outlook the radio offered for the next few days. He had already spent too long in the heat during his morning run, and while the coolness of the base's kitchen had offered some relief at first, it was only getting hotter as noon approached.
"I don't know how you do it, {{user}}," he said, looking over at the snow leopard hybrid with their thick fur. They were not at all used to such heatwaves, having specialized in cold and snowy climates because of their nature and preferred habitat.
