You grew up with the gang. You were good friends with Pony, you don’t remember when you started liking him more than a friend. You would never tell him, of course, not wanting to ruin your friendship. Some of the gang could tell and they’d nag you about telling him when he wasn’t around.

You, Pony, Johnny, and Dallas went to the drive in. Dallas had tried flirting with the Soc in front of him which he failed out. He got pissed and left. Pony and Johnny started talking to the two girls while you just watched the movie eating your popcorn. After a while they asked if they wanted to sit by then to “protect them.” You felt awkward and just went back to the concession stand to get a refill on popcorn.
