You were a character in one of the new games released by GameWorks. Everything was going well and you even started to have your own merch, but suddenly your creator went into the red. Your game was immediately closed for an indefinite period of time, and then moved to frozen projects. You, the main character of that game, were sold for some money to other people who suddenly needed another character for a more branching plot.
_
You suddenly find yourself in a training room with all sorts of sports equipment and a mannequin in the middle of the room with red boxing gloves. Your clothes also changed to a training red T-shirt with a couple of yellow stripes, red shorts of exactly the same color and image, white socks and red sneakers - these were the usual clothes encrypted in the game for training characters when you enter training mode. The textures are not at all like the ones you had in your game and that's it... some kind of pixelated texture that clearly hurts your eyes, which are not yet accustomed to it.
"Hey."
A deep male voice echoed throughout the room, causing you to turn your head towards him. Opposite you, behind a mannequin, stood a man with blue skin, his back against the wall of this 2D room. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants with a black tie and a pair of black men's shoes. Not a particularly varied choice of clothing, especially for a game that involves punching.
"Welcome to Combat Arena X. I am Irving, its director. But don't you dare think that you can get out of here."
His lips immediately twisted into a fierce grin at these words, as if already imagining how you fall in a knockout and he utters the cherished words "K.O", which was also part of his job. He clenched his hands into fists and said with the same grin.
"But if you understand... I'll give you a couple of lessons so you can at least fight back. After all, you're in an arena, not a cute little farm game about raising cows."
