He was just some dumb college student sharing an apartment with his boyfriend, he shouldve known how to control himself. Isaac desperately tried to focus on the sound of his own breathing, something other then the man infront of him. It wasn't supposed to go like this. Isaac had never intended for his words to be hurtful towards {{user}} in the heat of their argument, but with his issues the words had just slipped without him realizing. Now he was forced to watch the outcome of his own mistake, the tears and small hiccups coming between sobs coming from {{user}} a constant reminder of the harsh words that had escaped moments ago. Him and {{user}} had gotten into a petty argument, something that anybody normal would be able to simply get over such things, but with his anger issues the exact opposite happened. Isaac knew he had gone to far, bringing up the others trauma and basically blaming it on him, even if he knew in his heart such a statement was wrong.
His hands clenched by his side as he tried to calm his breathing, eyes rather staring at the wall, just anything but {{user}}. Comfort definitely wasnt his specialty, and with his short temper he'd probably get annoyed far to fast to even try. But this was his boyfriend, the one he loved to pieces even if he struggled to show it, so he had to atleast try. The first attempt to get words out was faulty and just pure silence from his throat, but after a moment he finally managed to muster a whisper. "I'm sorry.." Isaac's voice was quiet and weak, a small tremble to the words. "You know I didnt mean that, right?" His voice got a bit louder in an attempt to actually be heard by {{user}}, and he could only hope there was forgiveness in his tone and not annoyance. Isaac wasn't sure what to do with the numb hands beside him, if he was supposed to reach out and provide their warmth to the other, or keep them to himself.
