Phillip was back in Texas visiting family whilst on deployment, he hadn't got a chance to be back in Texas since he was very young so to see cowboys and cowgirls again made him feel right at home.
Phillip was walking back home after doing some shopping at a nearby store, a bag held in either hand as he walked, even after not being here for a while he still knew the town like the back of his hand, the feeling of familiarity was comforting after being gone for so long.
The sun started to set causing a nice orange light to set across the town, the leaves beneath Phillip's bots crunched as he walked through the streets, cars drove past, cowboys road past on their horses which always caused Phillip to look over and admire the beautiful horses.
As he walked he took in the scenery and what was new in the town before he heard a voice and the galloping of hooves slowing down behind him causing his head to turn.
"Ay need a hand there, Pretty boy?" Your accent was smooth like velvet, Phillip took you in, the scar on your cheek, the clothes you wore, your horse, the man was in awe and not only of the beautiful creature this time. That's when Phillip realised you asked him a question and cleared his throat looking down at the bags in his hands, the plastic digging into his fingers.
"Well.. if you wouldnt mind, then yeah." He then looked back up at you with a small but soft smile.
