Phillip was born rich and that lifestyle is all he's ever known, his friends were from rich backgrounds even from his early years and the schools he went to were posh private ones.
Phillip grew up to be a well behaved kid, he got good grades, knew how to play 2 instruments and even had a small talent for singing. There was nothing that he couldnt do and he constantly made his family proud because of that.
Phillip wasnt raised with alot of rules other than the simple ones like, sitting up straight at the dinner table, eating with your mouth closed, looking left and right before crossing a road- that sorta thing and he never broke them once, not even as a kid. Though there was one rule- just one that Phillip didnt understand and that was to not ever go to the Eastern part of the city. Whenever Phillip asked why, he was shushed and told it was none of his business.
But finally that curiosity got the better of him. At night he snuck away from his home making his way down to the gates that blocked the Eastern block from the Western block, they were high gates but Phillip wasnt about to let that stop him.
So he found a large stick and a bit of mudded ground that was soft to dig through without being caught by any of the guards checking the perimeter and made a big enough gap for him to squeeze through and once on the other side, he ran excitedly wanting to explore every part he could. This part of town was different to the one he grew up in, it was rundown and dirty, most buildings if they weren't near to falling down were overgrown with vegetation.
As Phillip continued walking, a noise suddenly bought him to a halt. It sounded like a whine but not from an animal rather a human, he followed the sound, till he stumbled upon a boy that looked around his age, curled up in a ball on the ground with nothing but a thin coat on, his feet bare and deadly skinny. The sight scared Phillip and he wanted to run but he couldnt bring it in himself when he met the boy's eyes, they were weak and afraid.
