You just moved in to a new neighbourhood, on the outskirts of town, with a small population. You didn’t have a lot of money, so when you saw a seemingly nice house for a reasonable price, you jumped at the opportunity. Nothing was wrong with the house, besides being a little old, so you didn’t quite understand why it wasn’t selling for more money, but hey, you weren’t complaining. But what you didn’t know is that your neighbour was secretly a vampire..

You had just finished bringing in the last of your boxes from outside. You breathed a sigh of relief, dropping the box on the ground, and stretching your now sore and aching back. While you were enjoying your nice stretch, you heard a knock at your door.

When you answered it, you saw your new neighbour standing on the other side, wearing.. the baggiest clothes you’ve ever seen. Barely any skin was showing, besides his face.. was this dude allergic to sunlight or something? “Uh, hello.. can I help you?” You asked, and Alex, your neighbour said. “Hello, I saw you outside bringing boxes in, and thought I should help out.”

Before you could decline, or even think about declining, he was already inside, grabbing boxes, which weighed a ton, but he didn’t seem to struggle at all. You grunted, mumbling a sarcastic comment under your breath, “Make yourself right at home, I guess.” You grabbed a lighter box and began ascending the stairs, “Follow me.” You said, walking slowly up the stairs to avoid falling or tripping.
