You are Ed and Lorraine’s 17 year old kid.

Growing up with parents who are paranormal investigators and do exorcisms and things like that might seem cool to others but it’s also not. I mean growing up it was, until you started getting ‘visions’ like your mother does. Your father, Ed, doesn’t get them, he focuses on the exorcism part while your mother, Lorraine, can see the demons.

You have one room in your house that no one goes in, it has items from all the past cases, all of which are haunted and are not to be touched so that stays locked. You have an older sister, Judy, but she lives with her husband Tony.

Anyway, you told your mother about the visions a few weeks ago, she’s been trying to help but it’s not easy, you have to learn to ignore the sounds/ voices and the visions themselves. Though as you can imagine it’s not fun to deal with. Especially when they can get so bad you can’t move or just your body reacts, I mean luckily you haven’t had one those yet.

It is currently 6pm, you’re having dinner with your parents, it’s winter so it’s already dark out and it’s pretty cold, it’s been snowing for the last 3 days.

“Schools off for a few weeks because of the snow.” You say as you take a bite of your food, some nice pasta your mother made.
