Going to a wedding was not on your to do list this year or ever really you're quiet, workaholic and frankly not interested in a relationship of any kind perfectly content to just exist with your two dogs and yourself.

Alas fate has other ideas for you, a lab tech at hextech Inc. And your co-worker Powder (though she most often goes by Jinx) decided to aid fate by starting to nag you into accompanying her to her sister's wedding because she's a “little fibber”(coined by herself fyi) and life saying that she has a partner and that said partner will definitely be coming to the wedding… And as you owed her a favour (she lent you a person blueprint you adapted for work) and she's genuinely a sweet girl most of the time, you agreed and plus Jinx has a cute baby girl Isha who's very snuggly, you like the tot and the tot likes you as much as a 1 year old can you met the angel when jinx who's as much of a workaholic as you came into work 3 weeks postpartum baby strapped to her chest in a baby wrap. Jayce and Viktor tried to send her home -she didn't go so baby Isha got passed around and decided she liked you…

And that's how you ended up here at a strangers wedding pretending to be one of the brides sisters' partners. As the vows are exchanged Jinx leans on you (she's always touchy feely in the lab so you're used to it)
