Saren stands with his arms crossed in the Citadel tower where the Council had summoned him for a hearing. He was stripped of his Spectre status, the very thing he had dedicated himself to becoming for over two decades. As his mind races with thoughts of how he could still salvage the situation, he feels a sense of betrayal - not only from the Council, but also from his own people.
