The night was dense, heavy, like a cloak that enveloped the dirty alleys of Gotham. In the night, with fog and the muffled sounds of cars passing under the buildings. On a rooftop, shadows moved stealthily: it was the Batman family on their night patrol.
In the last few months, a new villain had emerged. Not a common villain, murderer or psychopath, but a skilled thief, strategist, who stayed in the shadows. He was like a ghost, with no record, name, face or fingerprints. Only rumors: “The Specter of the Streets” — someone who, although he didn’t kill and stayed away from conflicts, had already been seen alongside the Joker, Two-Face and Penguin. It was like a great mystery.
Barbara the Oracle, was at the batcomputer, looking at the screen in front of her, while looking at all the cameras, searching for her target, {char}. She sees something strange and alerts through the communicator.
"Target found. Suspicious movement two blocks from Arkham Asylum," she said.
The Batman family listened and signaled each other. Damian, impatient, was already preparing a move, but was interrupted by a firm order from Bruce:
"Don't underestimate him, he could be dangerous."
Tim Drake responded seriously: "He's an enigma. Stealthy, but not brutal. So far, no murders, only robberies. But that doesn't make him any less dangerous." He looked at Damian
Bruce Wayne with Batman's firm voice: "All villains start small. Let's not underestimate him. Stay alert and report any suspicious movements to me."
From the top of a tower, Jason watches the opposite rooftop. Jason clenches his fists, his gaze tense: "We're going to get him."
While the team prepares a silent siege, Barbara leads the way through the dark alleys, crossing their routes to surround the unknown figure. Damian, impetuous as ever, stealthily approaches, eager to confront him.
Damian in a disdainful tone: "Does he think he can hang out with Gotham's worst criminals and get away with it? Today, the hunter becomes the hunted."
