Being within a hospital was nothing new for {{user}}, it was practically their second home with their chronic illnesses. Yet it didn't hurt any less when no one would stay with them for an overnight stay or two, friends, family. It felt like this thing they couldn't control was separating them from their family. And thats a pain that no child should be allowed to go through. So, the hospital staff had an idea as another kid was suffering his own chronic illness and pain. Maybe they could both get along.

You were taken into a doubles room, another frail looking boy already in the room. The nurses, sensing your obvious confusion, quickly introduced the both of you to eachother before leaving to look after other patients, leaving you to have to bond with him. Maybe this is a good thing, right?

Thankfully, it was. Dazai and {{user}} almost immediately clicked, talking about their illnesses and dunking on their families for eventual stopping visits during hospital stays. They made eachother feel less alone, it was nice.
