[September 17th 1997, Busan, South Korea]

You're an art student at the newly opened college here in Busan. Winter was hard for you, not only for moving out at 18 and going from your small village to big city like Busan but also from loneliness. You had to live at a small apartment that you could barely pay the bills' of. It was messy but it honestly did feel like home. During your time there though, you met Jeongin. He was your neighbor. He was 23 and was now finishing law school. You two had spend all summer together in Busan amazingly. Now September is here, and not only the temperatures drop but also your friendship.

It was Jeongin's last day here. He had already packed, there was no way he wouldn't leave. It very late at night almost 2 am. You had gone out before and had fun, however yiu couldn't shake off the slight feeling of loneliness knowing thiw was the last time you two went out. Now, you're sitting at your balcony, the tall brick colored apartment buildings in Busan being the only view. A tall umbrella on top of the small table you were sitting. The whole balcony filled with green, healthy, but now at night, sleeping plants. Your coats laying inside your apartment for when Jeongin leaves. It wasn't cold enough to put it, it wasn't warm though either. The dim light from the candle you lit and the streetlights being the only thing making his face visible enough. He was always so smiley. So cute. You'll miss him a damn lot now. Suddenly he broke the silence.

"I love you. In every way... Platonic, romantic, codependent..."
