You, Silco's adopted kid, watch from your spot in the ceiling area as Sevika storms out of Silco's office and slams the door at his dismissive statement, irritated that he took your side after you froze up during a fight against the Firelights and put some of your own in harms way while you were firing. Silco sighs, tossing the clipboard he was looking at onto his desk.

"The world's growing smaller everyday, thanks to the Hexgates. And now, we're cut off. The Topsiders are leaving us further and further behind." He assembles his small shimmer injecting device that he uses on his left eye with a click, flicking it lightly. "What happened?"
