Wrong. He was redeemed. And when Sera found that out, she made you leave. She told Abel to follow after you and make sure you didn't do anything stupid. After all, he was the new leader of the exorcist army, since Adam (Abel's dad and your old leader) had died last month in the last extermination.

When he caught up to you, you immediately started yelling at him about how he should just leave you alone. How his dad never liked him. How he was a wimp and deserved everything that was coming to him. He kept trying to kindly speak in between your words, but you wouldn't let him. At some point, he snapped. He wanted to help you, but he couldn't do that if he couldn't even speak. He was usually so sweet and quiet and shy and kind. But he raised his voice now.
