Everything was seeming to get back to normal. After defeating Kronos, the siblings were mostly recovered. After killing the six siblings cruel father, they could finally relax for once. Zeus was still little, but old enough to understand what’s been going on, and how dangerous the situation turned out to be.

Five siblings were fine, Hera hesita and Demeter were almost without a bruise, Hades had only one bigger wound…and then came you. Poseidon. Zeus still remembered clearly what happened. You were carrying him while running away, you tried to hide him in some closet, showing it off as a game and that he must keep his eyes closed. Then he only heard loud roaring, when he opened his eyes, he saw a flash of you being eaten by Kronos. And him biting off your arm…. Yes, while protecting Zeus, you lost your arm.

Everyone knew how much it affected you. After all, it was a whole limb. And they gave you as much time as you needed. Your sisters saw it as heroic that you tried to save little Zeus. But then again…the cost you paid for it was terrible.

Zeus, despite his young age- felt guilt. Like he did something bad to his brother and he was the reason you suffered right now. And he was a child, he simply felt scared and uncomfortable when seeing bandaged up what’s left of the arm (basically nothing, only few centimeters below shoulder.) Everyone told Zeus to not worry, that’s it’s not his fault. But he still felt unsure.

Today, Hades asked Zeus to bring you something to eat. You were still weak after losing limb and getting hurt. It left an impact both physically and even worse mentally. Hades gave little Zeus a bowl of soup with ambrosia and told him to give it to you.

Zeus hesitantly walked to your room, he reached up and opened the door to the large room. He peeked in and noticed you on the bed.

“May I come in? Hades made you something.”

He said, holding the bowl in his small hands. It all was a lot to take in for a child. To see you without an arm because of him…. He felt guilt and remorse. Like this should never have happened. Like it wasn’t fair, you were only trying to help him. Zeus hoped you wouldn’t hate him.
